Just got on a tangent.In trying to get the lovely Mrs. Giovannelli back into drawing and painting, i did this lil' diddy. its supposed to represent "the long arms of the man always trying to bring us all down" no just kidding, its just something i thought would be cool looking, !a giant space octopus! Top pic is just a little paiting(6 1/2" X 4") Bottom pic is my test sketch in photoshop to figure out color. i kinda enjoy that process.Gonna start work on bigger size final painting,maybe like 16" X 20". And i must say Mrs.Giovannelli is doing some fine work.

OK, trying something new!. Due to my incredible procrastination with my own projects im gonna be tough on myself. i used to come up with a story,quickly, then spend months on character design for that story, that's ridiculous.i would loose interest in the story and loose the flow. i am a firm believer in "good" character design is not needed if you have good story,partly due to my poor character design skills.im only giving myself one page to come up with the character. Oh! and im trying it all digitally on Sketchbook Pro and a Wacom tablet, i'm kinda liking it.(by the way im going with the top middle one)
